Been posting in this blog now for about 5 months. 100 posts.

From what I’ve seen of Napoleon Dynamite, it looks hilarious. I can’t wait to see it.

Oh, and tonight we’re going to see Harry Potter–which is just now at the dollar movie. Heh. We’re so cheap.

Woo woo! We get to go to CS next week and do a gig. Should be fun. We’re going to be trying out our “Acoustification” which may or may not go over well. If it does, then we’ll probably keep maturing this sound. If it doesn’t, then we’ll probably develop this sound for Austin and work on a full rock band for the College Setting. Especially in College Station, where everyone is in an acoustic rock act–it’d be nice to have something to differentiate you from BOTH places :)

Ah, you can please some of the people all of the time, or all of the people some of the time… actually.

Wait, strike that : You can please some of the people some of the time.

And that’s that.

Very cool. I’ve now downloaded 4 full Mutual Admiration Society shows. Very cool, I say. I love how bands progress over time. It’s a beautiful thing. And this is a place you can HEAR the progression.

Ben is living with us for a bit while he looks for a more permenant place to live. I expect the novelty of having your best guy friend living with you/nearby will wear off soon enough–but having a jam partner might take a bit longer.

Something I do recognize already is that I will get some good practice for when the baby is around–making time for Andrea outside the house–time for JUST US. At the same time, the house is her sanctuary, so I’m sure that there will be some times that I politely ask Ben to find a nice activity for the evening, away from the house. That will be good for him too–because Lord KNOWS I’m not the easiest person to live with.

Anyway, exciting, challenging, and ultimatly a growing experience.
