My sister’s JV basketball team won last night against their district rival. Why this is significant is because when they played each other 3 weeks ago, they got beat by 44 points. Pretty amazing.
Unfortunately, their varsity lost by 3 points. Too bad, really.
We’ve had an interesting week with me going back to work and the kids slipping into more of a schedule. Bethany slept a while last night (4 hours) and Timothy has been soooo sweet to her. He’s getting a bit violent with her because he is used to thwacking things he percieves as toys when he’s excited. We’re working on that.. that will be hard to overcome.
I think everyone in the Simoneau household is on the way to recovery. Bethany is the worst off of the four of us, but she’s doing okay. All in all, life is hanging in there.
In “cute things that Timothy did” news, we’ve been giving him breathing treatments to help with his Brochialitis/Asthma (they don’t know which it is), and during the treatments he has to sit with a mask and just breath in this medicine. We entertain him and promise him M&Ms when he’s done if he’s been good. We started doing the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” — which he now refers to as “Ba-be-ba” — it’s very cute to watch him try to do the motions.
More news to come after seeing the ENT specialist on Monday.
